Yummy Strawberry + Banana Smoothie!

I swear I could drink smoothies all day! I usually hit up Smoothie King or McDonalds to get my fix. Yesterday, while me and my mom were out at Home Depot we ran across a great deal. A simple stainless steel blender for $9.88!

Now, I'm a smoothie making machine! I just got my blender yesterday and I'm already cranking out smoothies! I don't know why I never got a blender before.. but now that I have one.. I'll never let go!

So want to make the Strawberry + Banana Smoothie I made today?

Here's what you need:

1 banana, about 6-7 strawberries, 3/4 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt, 2 tablespoon honey, & 1 cup of ice [or if fruits are frozen skip the ice]

Slice fruit and mix everything in the blender. Blend until all mixed together.

If you like really sweet add more honey. If you like alot of flavor add more yogurt.

Pour into your favorite [mason jar] glass and enjoy! These ingredients made about two glasses. If you want more, double or triple the recipe.

Do you love smoothies? what are some of your favorite recipes?? Please share them with me I would love to try them in my new blender!

    1. Thank you, smoothies are the best way I can get her to eat more fruit. They really take no time to make though, maybe 5-7 mins.

  2. I came thru a linky party. I do the same recipe but will use whatever frozen fruit I have in the freezer and partially thaw them in the microwave. Otherwise I find it too cold! However, I add one or two raw eggs for extra protein knowing that raw eggs may have salmonella int them. Never had an issue but may be playing with fire! The other option would be a protein powder. I also add 1 scoop of metamucil for fibre. Too much more and my daughter (teenager) notices!
